Glass screen printing process and requirements

The screen printing process of glass is based on the principle of screen printing, printing ink onto the surface of the glass, and then using the curing measures of the ink, the printed case is firm and durable.

The process flow is as follows: stretching net → sizing → drying → printing → development → drying ↓ flat glass → cutting → edging → washing and drying → printing → sintering

1. Glass for printing

Cut the glass according to the user's requirements, it can be regular shape, or it can be irregular shape, then it can be edged and ground, then cleaned and dried for use.

Special care should be taken here that there should be no water marks on the glass surface.

2. Screen selection

The screen printing plate for glass printing is the same as the general screen printing plate. The glass screen printing plate is made of synthetic fiber mesh, stainless steel wire mesh and natural fiber mesh.

When printing a general color material, the above-mentioned screen can be used, generally using an inexpensive synthetic fiber mesh;

When used as a gold and silver decoration, you can not choose stainless steel wire mesh.

The specifications of the wire mesh are generally 270-300 mesh.

3. Frame selection

At present, the frame that is relatively regular and has little deformation is an aluminum alloy frame, and its size should be larger than the case. The specific size should be that the outer edge of the case should be between 70-100mm.

In addition to the selection of the frame, its strength is very important, the key is the rigidity of the horizontal direction is sufficient.

4. Stretching network selection

Wire mesh and net frame, combine the two, this is the stretch net.

There are many ways to stretch the net. It can be manually, maneuvered or pneumatic. At present, the more advanced, high-quality screen is a pneumatic stretcher.

The requirement of the stretch net is that the tension is uniform, the web warp and weft are kept vertical, and the adhesive mesh is firm and cannot be relaxed.

Wire mesh

Wire mesh is a large classification of all kinds of silk and silk products, and is a general term for monofilaments and screens. Silk mainly refers to silk processed from metal, synthetic fiber, etc.; the net is made of silk, which is woven into different shapes, densities and specifications according to different methods. With the rapid development of science and technology, wire mesh uses and petroleum, chemical, automotive, paper, food, construction, aviation, aerospace and other industries and high-tech fields.
