Screen printing applications in ceramics and glass
Our company's main products are polyester bolting cloth. Below I will introduce the application of polyester printing bolting cloth.
Ceramic screen printing
Pattern decoration on ceramics has long been used in methods such as blow molding, hand-painting, rubber stamping, and transfer of decals printed on copper plates and lithographic plates. In recent years, with the application of screen printing in the ceramic industry, the decorative pattern on the ceramics is more three-dimensional. The enamel after firing is very thick and the color is very bright, and it looks like it is painted with enamel. The pattern is finer than the pattern generally used for the blow molding method, and the production efficiency is also improved a lot. Since silk screen has many advantages as described above for the decoration of ceramics, its application range is wider every day.
Screen printing of glass
Glass screen printing is the use of screen printing plates, using glass glazes, decorative printing on glass products. Glass glaze is also called glass ink and glass printing material. It is a paste printing material which is obtained by mixing and mixing coloring materials and binders. The coloring material is composed of an inorganic pigment and a low melting point flux (lead glass powder); the binder is commonly known as a slab oil in the glass silk screen industry. After printing, the glassware should be placed in a fire oven and fired at a temperature of 520~600 °C. The glaze printed on the glass surface can be fixed on the glass to form a colorful decorative pattern. If you use silk screen together with other processing methods, you will get better results. For example, polishing, engraving, etching, etc., the glass surface is processed before or after printing, and the printing effect can be doubled.
The frosted screened frosted glass of the glass is adhered to the glass of the product on a glass of a certain size. After baking at a high temperature of 580~600 °C, the glass glaze coating is melted on the surface of the glass and is shown to have A decorative method of different colors of the glass body. Adhesive glass glaze powder, can be brushed with a pen, or can be rolled with a rubber roller. Through the silk screen processing, the floor pattern of the frosted surface can be obtained. The method comprises: silk-screening a pattern pattern formed by a flux-blocking agent on the surface of the glass article. After the pattern pattern to be printed is air-dried, it is subjected to frosting. Then, after high-temperature baking, the frosted surface without the pattern pattern is melted on the glass surface, and the place where the silk screen pattern is applied is not melted on the glass surface due to the action of the flux inhibitor. After baking, the transparent floor pattern appears through the translucent sand surface, forming a special decorative effect. Frosted silk screen printing resistant consists of ferric oxide, talc, clay, etc., ground with a ball mill, with a fineness of 350 mesh, and blended with a binder before silk screen printing.
