Commonly used screens are generally divided into three categories according to materials, including nylon, polyester and stainless steel. Polyester screens are divided into three types: ordinary polyester mesh, high tension and low elongation polyester mesh and single Flatten the screen. In addition to this, there are some screens for professional use. Such as: anti-static wire mesh, special polyester mesh for glass, nylon mesh for ceramics, etc.

1. Nylon mesh: It is made of polyurethane fiber (commonly known as nylon) and has the advantages of polyurethane fiber. Namely: A. has good resilience, high elasticity; B. superior wear resistance, suitable for long-run printing; C. smooth surface, good over-inking; D. good surface tension characteristics, Strong tensile resistance; E. It is not easy to generate static electricity and has certain alkali resistance.

The inadequacies of nylon mesh are as follows: A. The characteristics of direct resistance to ultraviolet light or strong light are poor; B. Poor acid resistance, poor temperature stability and dimensional stability; C. High elongation, large tensile deformation, affecting overprinting Accuracy.

2. Ordinary polyester mesh: woven from ordinary polyester fiber. The advantages are: A. high tensile strength, can withstand higher tension; B. good wear resistance, can resist the wear of the ink and the squeegee on the screen during printing; C. high light resistance, in nature Under room temperature light. Shelf life is not sensitive; D. is not sensitive to climate factors, low hygroscopicity, heat resistance; E. low elongation, good dimensional stability; F. strong chemical resistance, resistant to general acid, but resistant to general The base is limited.

The inadequacies of ordinary polyester mesh: the combination with the emulsion, the ink and the abrasion resistance are not as good as nylon. Pre-screening requires pre-screening (ie, the screen needs to be roughened and defatted and ground).

3. High tension and low elongation polyester mesh: woven from high tension polyester fiber. In addition to the advantages of ordinary polyester mesh, its outstanding advantages are: A. Its structure is more stable, the tension stability after stretching is high, and the precision stability is excellent in long-term printing operations; B. can withstand high The tension is low, and the extension is low, which improves the precision of overprinting; C. When printing, the mesh distance is small, the mesh and ink are peeled off very well; D. The service life is long, and the mechanical resistance is strong.

4, single-sided flattening wire mesh: woven from polyester fiber. It presses the polyester mesh through a pad press and a rubber bar to form a flat surface on the screen. Therefore, the thickness of the screen is reduced by 25%, and the opening area is also slightly reduced. When the other processes are the same, the thickness of the printing ink layer is reduced, which is advantageous for the curing of the UV ink. Therefore, it is suitable for UV ultraviolet light solid ink, so it is also called UV screen. Its outstanding advantages are: A. can save about 35% of UV ink; B. pressing plane is on the ink surface, when printing, the scraper is smoother on the flat screen, and the stencil has long service life; C. Printing resolution High, good dimensional stability, able to print high quality products.

5, stainless steel wire mesh: woven from stainless steel wire, has the following characteristics: A. high tension and low elongation, screen stability is excellent; B. high tensile strength, good ink quality; C. wire diameter, The hole diameter is large and the wire diameter opening is quite uniform, and the printing precision is high; D. The resistance is chemical resistance, the abrasion resistance and the moisture resistance are good.

The shortcomings of the stainless steel mesh: it is easy to be injured by external force, the rebound is small, and the price is not easy to place.
