How to maintain the stainless steel filter mesh surface

When we use stainless steel filter mesh, there will be unavoidably some damage on the mesh surface.
So how to repair the damage? Here MAISHI will share some suggestions about the maintenance of filter mesh

1. Dust
When there is dust on the surface of the mesh, it can be removed with water or an alkaline solution. For some grime with strong adhesion, it requires high-pressure water or steam to clean.
2. Rusty spots
If there are rusty spots on the stainless steel mesh, that indicates that the mesh surface is seriously contaminated. Rust must be removed before further production.
We can use white vinegar to remove the rusty spots. Vinegar can chemically react with rust on metal, breaking it down; Or we can also try using lime and salt. Sprinkle the salt over the rusted area, covering it thoroughly, and pour the lime juice over it.
3. Scratches
The scratch can be removed by a special polishing machine.
4. Residual adhesive
When removing the tape and protective paper, part of the adhesive maybe remain on the stainless steel mesh surface. If not hardened yet, it can be removed with an organic flux. Otherwise, mechanical cleaning with fine abrasives is required.

The stainless steel filter mesh needs maintenance regularly, which will extend the service life.
